Bouygues Telecom introduces new business mobile internet plans

French operator Bouygues Telecom has launched a number of new mobile internet plans for businesses, with speeds up to 42Mbps. Customers can choose from five plans, starting with the Evolutif offer which has no monthly subscription fee and the customer is only charged for the data used. The One plan offers 250MB for EUR 14 per month, the Plus plan offers 1GB as well as unlimited SMS/MMS for EUR 24 per month, the Extra plan offers 3GB per month and unlimited messaging for EUR 35, and the Ultra plan comes with unlimited data and messaging as well as 50MB data roaming in Europe and the US for EUR 69 per month. All plans can be used with phones, modems or tablets and include priority access to the 3G network and the Bouygues Wi-Fi network, visual voicemail and phone tethering. After reaching the monthly data limit, the speed is reduced to 256Kbps. Customers receive a discount on equipment with the more expensive plans, and can choose from devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note or Galaxy S II, HTC One S, Samsung Galaxy Tab, ZTE MF 668 and Huawei E372 and E587 modems.

TIM launches Internet Pack Premium for EUR 299

TIM, Italian mobile operator has launched the Internet Pack Premium option. The package offers 12 months of internet browsing without limits of time or traffic and a dongle or 3G Wi-Fi modem at 42.2 Mbps, for EUR 299. The Internet Pack Without Limits, which is very similar in format, supplies an internet dongle at 14.4 Mbps for EUR 199, including 12 months of browsing.

TIM launches special offers for Valentine’s Day

TIM, Italian mobile operator ­has announced a number of offers for Valentine’s Day. These offers include discounts for tablets, mobile phones and internet dongles. The TIM x 2 option, which offers unlimited calls to a TIM number, now costs EUR 1 per week with no activation fee. The Internet Pack 40, for a cost of EUR 99 (instead of EUR 162), comes with an internet dongle and 40 hours of browsing per month for a year. Internet Pack Without Limits costs EUR 179 (instead of EUR 199) and includes a HSPA dongle (at up to 7.2 Mbps download), one year of unlimited browsing and a TIM card with EUR 5 of traffic included. TIM is also making available a selection of mobile phones at discounted prices, including the Samsung Galaxy Ace for EUR 179 (instead of EUR 299), LG Optimus Black for EUR 199 (instead of EUR 399), HTC Desire S for EUR 259 (instead of EUR 499) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 for EUR 429 (instead of EUR 499).

Optimus introduces professional mobile internet service

Optimus, Portuguese mobile operator has announced Kanguru Net Pro, a professional internet service with high speeds, unlimited traffic and a wide range of productivity services, accessible via a USB stick. This service is specifically desiged for small and medium enterprises and individual entrep­reneurs, Kanguru Net Pro offers mobile internet at speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps. It also includes a wide range of professional services such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Communicator, virtual fax and Panda anti-virus for PC.

Poste Mobile introduces new data plan for SmartPhones and tablets.

Italian MVNO Poste Mobile has launched a new internet offer for smartphones and tablets called ‘Mobile 1 Giga New’ .The offer provides users 1 GB of data transfer per month at the maximum connection speed of 7.2 Mbps within Italy and costs EUR 4.50 per month. If the traffic threshold is exceed­ed, the rate for additional MB costs EUR 0.50.
