Italian MVNO Poste Mobile has launched a new internet offer for smartphones and tablets called ‘Mobile 1 Giga New’ .The offer provides users 1 GB of data transfer per month at the maximum connection speed of 7.2 Mbps within Italy and costs EUR 4.50 per month. If the traffic threshold is exceedÂed, the rate for additional MB costs EUR 0.50.
Wind offers new Super Smartphone promotion

Italian mobile operator Wind has introduced a new promotion for customers who buy a smartphone, Wind-branded tablet or Wind MicroSim. When purchasing a smartphone or Wind-branded tablet, customers can get the Internet No Stop package for half price, EUR 4.50 per month for the first two years, instead of EUR 9.00. Internet No Stop allows unlimited internet with up to 1 GB per month, beyond which the speed will be reduced to a maximum 32 Kbps until the next month. This promotion runs until February 5th 2012.
