Vodafone Germany lowers rates for CallYa International calls

Vodafone Germany has modified the CallYa International pre-paid tariffs. Subscribers can now get the starter pack for EUR 5, with EUR 5 of included starter credit. Vodafone has also reduced the cost of calls using CallYa International to 39 countries worldwide. These will apply to new and existing customers from 01 March.
Megafon introduces new tariff for business customers

Megafon, Russian mobile operator has launched a new tariff for its business customers called ‘Collective’. The offer includes free calls and SMS between staff members of the same company. Any number of lines can be added, with a minimum monthly subscription of RUB 2,500. Currently the offer is only available in Moscow.
TIM launches Internet Pack Premium for EUR 299

TIM, Italian mobile operator has launched the Internet Pack Premium option. The package offers 12 months of internet browsing without limits of time or traffic and a dongle or 3G Wi-Fi modem at 42.2 Mbps, for EUR 299. The Internet Pack Without Limits, which is very similar in format, supplies an internet dongle at 14.4 Mbps for EUR 199, including 12 months of browsing.
Personal introduces SMS services

Argentinean mobile operator Personal has launched two SMS services called “SMS por cobrar”, and “SMS respuesta paga”. The ‘Personal SMS por cobrar’ service enables users to send text messages free of charge. The text message price of ARS 0.29 per SMS will be charged to the recipient. Customers who activate the ‘Personal SMS respuesta paga’ service will be able to send an SMS and choose to be charged for the reply message too. The price is ARS 0.29 per reply SMS.
Yallo lowers overseas call costs for pre-paid customers

Sunrise’s prepaid MVNO Yallo is lowering the cost of international calls from Switzerland. Starting February 16th, calls to fixed-line networks in 33 countries will cost CHF 0.03 instead of CHF 0.25 per minute for Yallo pre-paid customers. The 33 countries include adjacent countries, various countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, as well as Australia, Canada and the US.
